While love stories in reality TV often follow a certain pattern, every once in a while, a couple comes along whose chemistry naturally wins people over. Netflix’s ‘Love Is Blind: Sweden’ has also seen stories like this unfold. In season 3, the connection between Malou Angelica and Aron Walker felt almost like something out of a storybook. From smiling and blushing while talking to each other in the pods to finally meeting and realizing they had never felt this way before, their love story seemed full of promise and carried the sense that it could truly last.
Angelica and Aron Broke Up The Day of Their Wedding
When Aron Walker began talking to Malou Angelica, he felt a certain kind of magic. They spoke about their desire to have a family, and Angelica shared that she had always wanted to start a family early, something she felt was missing from her life at the moment. Aron felt very comfortable with her and opened up about how, because he worked in sports, people often did not take him or his career seriously. Angelica reassured him that she did not see it that way at all. Aron even asked her if she would mind moving abroad for a long time, since his business was still new and not fully established, and she said she would be open to it. While much of their connection seemed to be going well and they both affirmed that they were each other’s top priority, Angelica still had one concern.

Since she was ready to start a family, she wondered whether Aron’s professional instability was something she could truly be comfortable with. Aron reassured her by explaining that his father had been a musician who pursued his passion despite earning little, so he understood what financial uncertainty felt like. He added he would not mind taking up a job to support them if need be. In their next conversation, she surprised him by confessing her feelings, and the two soon got engaged. During their retreat, they seemed clearly smitten with each other. Aron even told her that she was the first person he truly felt he was “in love” with and that he could hardly believe he was sitting next to her. Just before going back, Angelica told Aron that she was concerned about what people might say about the news of her being engaged.
He told her that she should not worry about other people’s opinions and was concerned about her letting things get to her so quickly. After the retreat, there were a few early challenges that the couple faced. Aron did not like that Angelica had made plans with her friends just a day after she had moved in. An argument broke out while they were walking because they failed to understand what the other wanted, but soon after, they spoke to one another and solved it. Angelica even admitted to her cast mates that she was seeing how smitten and taken she was with him, and she had never felt that way before. She was very happy for her bachelorette, but on the wedding day, she saw her friends and told them this was not how she was supposed to feel. They explained that it was natural and Aron was a good man, but Angelica decided to emet him. She told him that she needed time to sort out her feelings, and while she said she loved him, she said she did not want to be together.
Angelica and Aron Are No Longer Pursuing a Romantic Relationship
Angelica and Aron stood out as one of the strongest couples during the retreat, and even their castmates commented on how well adjusted they seemed with one another. While Aron appeared quieter and more laid-back, Angelica was more outgoing, and their personalities complemented each other naturally. However, it was these discrepancies that came their way. Angelica felt like Aron might not want to keep up with her, and their different attitudes to dealing with challenging scenarios created some difficulty. This created a lot of problems between them. While Aron was ready and willing, Aneglica felt that she had not yet reached there. He even told her that he did not understand how she could love him and not want to be with him. He said he was ready not to get married, but breaking up entirely truly shattered his world.

Their meeting at the reunion was quite emotional, with Aron stating that he was truly in love with her and that he was left very confused by her decision. Angelica apologized for springing it all on him and for not doing things right, but she stood by her decision not to marry him because she felt it was what was right for her. She even acknowledged that she had “run away” from him towards the end, which he appreciated, bringing them both some much-needed closure. Aron expressed how much he wanted things to work out before adding, “I’ll always wish her nothing but the best, no matter what.” On the other hand, even Angelica asserted that she still cares for him because he is a good man. But it seems like they have parted ways for good and are moving forward with their own lives. In fact, Angelica is currently seeing someone new, but she is choosing to keep the details of that relationship private.
