A young man’s life is changed after he enters the porn industry in Netflix’s ‘Supersex.’ Hailing from a small town in Italy, Rocco Tano decides to have a career in the sex industry, and due to having well-endowed genitals, it becomes easier for him to crack into an industry that is no less competitive or trying than any other business. Despite the many hurdles in his path, Rocco continues to push through until he becomes one of the most sought-after actors in porn movies. All this begins when he comes across a magazine called “Supersex.” Because the show is based on a real story, one might wonder if Supersex is a real magazine or made up to serve the story’s plot. Supersex was a Real Magazine that Changed Rocco Siffredi’s Life
Supersex is a real pornographic magazine that changed the course of Rocco Siffredi’s life. He was 13 when he came across the magazine, which featured photos of Gabriel Pontello, one of the most successful and popular porn stars during the 70s. In that particular magazine, he was dressed up as a superhero, who was an alien hailing from a planet named Eros.
It was the first time that young Rocco had seen a pornographic magazine, and with every page he turned, Pontello was featured with a different actress. Already on the point of a sexual awakening in his teenage, Rocco was hugely impacted by the magazine. This is when he decided that he wanted to be like Pontello.
When the teenager called his elder brother and told him about his plans, his brother called him crazy and didn’t take it seriously. He thought that Rocco was too young and didn’t really know what he was saying. But then, when Rocco turned 16, the desire to work in the porn industry didn’t leave him. Instead, it got stronger, and by the time he was 20, his brother asked him to come to Paris if he was seriously considering pursuing that career choice.
Once in Paris, things moved fast for Rocco. He visited a sex club, where he came across Pontello, whom he impressed so much that the actor decided to mentor him. Pontello introduced young Rocco to his connections in the industry, and this allowed the Italian to finally have his dream come true. He credits all of this to the magazine that changed his life.
While Supersex was a real and rather popular magazine of its time, it didn’t last long after Rocco found it. In fact, by the time he was in adult films, the magazine had been discontinued. The specific reason for why it was closed down remains uncertain, but Rocco did get to cross paths with the people who had worked on the magazine, in front of or behind the scenes.
