Fox’s ‘The Floor’ brings together a group of contestants who battle head-to-head in thrilling duels, all in pursuit of a life-changing cash prize of $250,000. With each victory, competitors can claim their opponent’s turf and take another step toward dominating the floor. In season 6, episode 3, titled ‘In the Crosshairs,’ the competition continues with the remaining 84 champions. Guiding them through every challenge and twist is the host, Rob Lowe. With nine duels on the line tonight, the person with the most turfs by the end of the night can earn $20,000.
First Two Duels of the Night End With Scott and Matt’s Eliminations
The night begins with Rob welcoming the remaining 84 champions. He then announces that tonight the competitors will face nine duels, and whoever has the most turf by night’s end will take home $20,000. Without further ado, he moves on to Travis, who has yet to make his decision whether he wants to keep playing or get eliminated after his last duel. The host then informs him of his options: Burlesque, Hawaii, Face Painting, and Zombies. After much consideration, Travis decides to stay back on the floor, leading Rob to activate the Randomizer. It selects a 34-year-old World Champion Debate Coach, Frankie, who is an expert in the Math Symbols category.

Frankie can choose to challenge any one of the experts in the following categories: Y2K Stars, Sports Positions, and Zombies. He quickly reveals that, since he appears in Britney Spears’ biopic, he will challenge the expert in the Y2K Stars category, 45-year-old Scott. It turns out that Scott is the season 2 winner of ‘Tough as Nails.’ In his confessional, Frankie reveals that his strategy is to intimidate others and let people know that he is a math champion. For the first duel of the night, they must identify the celebrities who dominated in the 2000s. As the duel ends, Frankie emerges victorious, winning two territories. While he retains his original expert category, Scott bids goodbye to the show.
After considering his available options, Frankie chooses to return to his turf because some people are intimidated by his expertise in Math Symbols. As the Randomizer is activated for the second time, it lands on 26-year-old Matt, a National Yo-Yo Champion in The Lincoln Era category. Rob promptly informs him of his options: Brain Games, Protein, and Area Codes. Matt ultimately decides to challenge the Protein category expert, 36-year-old Adrian, who is also the season 17 winner of ‘Worst Cooks in America.’ In the second duel, both contestants must name an ingredient or food that people eat to get protein. The intense battle finally concludes with Matt’s elimination. On the other hand, Adrian takes control of two floor pieces and inherits the Lincoln Era category.
Shawn Takes Control of Eight Pieces of the Floor After an Intense Duel
Once Adrian becomes the winner, he learns about his options: Area Codes, DMV, Brain Games, Album of the Year, and Chess. He carefully deliberates on his choices before finally choosing DMV category expert, 27-year-old Oratorical Champion, Tailour. Upon taking the stage, she discloses that she is a title specialist and often works with the DMV and card paperwork. For the third duel, the competitors must name the item or person they might see while waiting at a DMV office. Unfortunately, once the duel begins, Adrian misses multiple times, leading to his elimination. However, Tailour earns three territories and inherits Lincoln Era as her expert category.

Rob promptly informs Tailour about her current category options and finally decides to challenge 56-year-old Shawn with Famous Vehicles as her expertise. The host reminds Tailour that if she manages to win this duel, she can have the most pieces on the floor. As Shawn arrives on the stage, she expresses her confidence in defending her original category. For the fourth duel of the night, both contestants must identify the famous vehicles that appear on the screen. Fortunately, the intense duel concludes with Shawn as the winner, and she takes control of eight pieces of turf. She also inherits the Lincoln Era as her expert category.
Upon considering her 14 options, Shawn then decides to return to the floor to play the long game. She acknowledges that she is now a target, but she also feels confident about facing her opponents. The Randomizer is activated once again and selects the five-time Fantasy Football champion, 65-year-old Lari, as the next challenger. She is notably an expert in the category of Estate Sales. Her options for the upcoming duel include Field Trips, Hasbro Games, Chemistry, and Heated Rivalry. After deliberating on her choices, Lari challenges 28-year-old NCA Collegiate Cheer Champion, Morgan, who is also the Hasbro Games expert. During a momentary break, Morgan and a fellow competitor perform a cheer routine they have made for Rob.
Eddie Takes the Lead With 10 Territories After Winning Two Duels in a Row
Once the momentary break concludes, Rob announces that, for the fifth duel of the night, Lari and Morgan must name the games they see on the screen. The neck-and-neck duel sadly seals Lari’s fate, sending her home. In the meantime, Morgan wins two territories and inherits Estate Sale as her category. Upon learning about her options, she makes the difficult decision to defend her category and return to her turf. As the Randomizer is activated, it picks 34-year-old Grip Strength Champion, Gabi, whose expert category is Strength. She soon reveals that she is a strong woman and has been ranked as the fifth-strongest woman in the world three times.

For her duel, Gabi can select any one of the options: Lincoln Era, Animal Calls, or Racing Events. She quickly picks the 35-year-old NCAA and World Cup Gymnast, Eddie, from the Animal Calls category. Rob reveals that this is an audio duel, in which both contestants must listen to the audio and name the animal making the sound. The tension rises with every passing second of the duel before Eddie earns two territories after winning the sixth duel. As the winner, he also inherits the expert category of Strength. When the turn arrives for his choice, he quickly challenges Shawn, who inherited the Lincoln Era shortly before. In her confessional, she remarks that people often underestimate her, seeing her only as a beauty queen.
However, Shawn feels she can stay cool under pressure and focused, which gives her confidence about winning the duel. In the night’s seventh duel, the contestants must identify the place, person, or item from the era when Abraham Lincoln was the president. Rob promptly reminds both contestants that the winner will earn 10 pieces of turf and take the lead for $20,000. Despite giving it her all, Shawn fails to win the duel, ending her journey in the competition. Meanwhile, Eddie takes control of 10 territories and is reminded by Rob that since he has won two duels in a row, he can choose to take his chance and win Time Boost, Power Shot or Category Steal. Although Eddie has multiple options, he returns to the floor because he feels confident in his Strength category.
Eddie Becomes the Winner of the $20,000 Just Before the Final Duel
As the Randomizer is activated, it lands on 31-year-old Moumita, who is Miss NY Intercontinental and an expert in Chemistry. Rob announces that she can select any of the following options: Estate Sale, Perfumes, Broadway Shows, or Ballet. Moumita notes that although she is a dancer, ballet is her weakest point. She then remarks that since Perfumes are related to chemistry, she will challenge the category’s expert, 47-year-old Elizabeth, who is a ‘Guy’s Grocery Games’ winner. Moumita reveals in her confessional that, since Elizabeth recently inherited the Perfumes category, she plans to take advantage of her opponent’s newfound expertise. In the eighth duel, the competitors must see the image of the bottle on the screen, which is missing the brand name, and identify it.

The duel ends in Elizabeth’s elimination, helping Moumita earn three floor pieces. Fortunately, Moumita also retains her original category of Chemistry. After Rob lays out all the options in front of her, he also announces that if she decides to keep playing, Eddie will win the $20,000. However, Moumita ultimately decides to return to the floor. As the Randomizer is activated for the last time in the night, it selects the challenger to be the 34-year-old World Equestrian Champion, Hannah. Since her turf is far away from Eddie’s floor pieces, he consequently becomes the winner of the $20,000 because he has the most turf.
Eventually, Hannah learns that she can choose from the options: Phonetic Alphabets, Math Symbols, Ballet, and Broadway Shows. After careful deliberation, she challenges 44-year-old Avery, a Ballet expert and former Mister USA. He reveals that he has been a contemporary ballet dancer for over 20 years and will not let his opponent send him home. For the final battle of the night, they must name the item, position, or person associated with the ballet. Despite her best efforts, Hannah loses the duel, making Avery the winner. He subsequently takes control of two turf pieces. However, fans must wait until the next episode to learn his decision about his next gameplay.
