The Justice Warriors are up for another complex case! Moviedelic can confirm that ‘Lost Love,’ the third film in the ‘True Justice’ franchise that also includes the upcoming sequel ‘True Justice: Eye for an Eye,’ is in development at Hallmark. The project will enter production in Ottawa, Ontario, in mid-February this year. Katherine McNamara, Sabrina Saudin, and Marisa McIntyre will reprise their characters, Casey Barlowe, PJ Ellis, and Sarah Sharpe, respectively. Lisa Soper will direct the film.
The threequel will depict the Justice Warriors investigating a potential murder connected to a high-class jewelry fraud scheme. It is expected to be a direct follow-up to the second installment, in which Casey Barlowe and her team are caught up in the cutthroat politics of a local school’s parent coalition.
In the first film, titled ‘True Justice: Family Ties,’ Casey helps his brother Marcus get justice after the latter is accused of killing a woman named Devina Adams. She joins hands with PJ, Sarah, and Devina’s boyfriend, Eli, and starts exploring the case from different angles.
As the narrative progresses, it is revealed that Devina was hanging out with a rich, older, and married man named Kurt Teller, unbeknownst to Eli, before her death. After managing to pull the fingerprints on the victim’s watch, speaking to an eyewitness, and grabbing other pieces of evidence, the Justice Warriors find out that the person behind Devina’s killing is not Kurt but his wife, Rachel, who didn’t want to lose her wealth by any chance. Kurt is a potent man with powerful sources, and when she saw all that power slipping away, she did what she felt needed to be done. The film ends with Liam, PJ’s hacker friend, mentioning another case to Casey, which will, in all probability, be the parent coalition one.
‘True Justice: Eye for an Eye’ is confirmed to feature Katherine McNamara, Sabrina Saudin, and Marisa McIntyre. They may star alongside Sam Ashe Arnold as Marcus, Markian Tarasiuk as Eli, and Alexander Nunez as Liam.
‘True Justice: Eye for an Eye’ will also be filmed in Ottawa. Other Hallmark productions shot in the region include ‘True Justice: Family Ties,’ ‘Paging Mr. Darcy,’ and ‘Head Over Heels.’
