Adapted from Liv Constantine’s bestselling novella titled ‘My Sister’s Daughter,’ Lifetime’s ‘Don’t Trust the Girls Upstairs’ is a psychological thriller drama movie that centers on Ashley Preston, who is grieving after her estranged sister’s sudden passing. Taking the responsibility of tending to her orphaned teenage niece, Serena, Ashley and her husband, Elliot, welcome her into their humble abode and raise her alongside their daughter, Luna.
As Ashley hopes to offer Serena a fresh start after the loss, strange and disturbing occurrences begin taking place in the home. Sasha Rojen essays the character of Luna, Ashley’s daughter, who finds herself in a psychological battle with Serena, in the Lifetime production. Breaking into the scene through the short film ‘Bull by the Horns,’ Sasha managed to land roles in several major projects, including ‘iZombie,’ ‘Bates Motel,’ ‘One Christmas Wish,’ and ‘Highway to Heaven.’ Her face might seem familiar because she also features in ‘The Flash’ as Young Iris, ‘Supergirl’ as a Martian child, ‘Nancy Drew’ as Evelyn, ‘Murder in a Small Town’ as Belinda Bannister, and ‘Animal Control’ as Zoe.
