Based on the eponymous British show, Peacock’s ‘Love Island USA’ is a dating reality series that pits together a group of attractive individuals in a luxurious yet secluded resort, away from the outside world. As the Islanders are kept under video surveillance, they must form connections with other participants and compete for a grand cash prize. The seventh season follows a similar format, with the fan-favorite host, Ariana Madix, making a return. A new group of bachelors and bachelorettes make themselves at home in the villa, where a lot of drama unfolds. Apart from the connections and arguments between the Islanders, what makes season 7 more enthralling is the familiar villa, which takes on the role of an additional participant.
Love Island USA Season 7 Filming Locations
‘Love Island USA’ season 7 was filmed in the island country of Fiji, specifically on the Mamanuca Islands, marking it as the third consecutive season to take place on the island. It seems that shooting for the seventh iteration went on for several months in 2025, until May, when the last call for auditions was announced. The scenic vistas and the waves of the ocean surrounding Fiji make for an ideal setting for a dating show.
Mamanuca Islands, Fiji
Although the production team utilized the same 45,000-square-foot villa in Mamanuca Islands that featured in the sixth season, they ensured to add several modifying touches to the property for season 7. The purpose-built resort retained multiple features such as the fire pit and the spa-like bedroom. However, viewers might be surprised to spot a new photo booth for the Islanders to capture memories and a speakeasy built for private kiss-and-tells. On top of that, the property has also added a sauna to make things extra spicy between the participants.
The sprawling and luxurious resort not only contains several hidden areas for gossiping and cuddling, but also plenty of space on the deck to bask in the sun. Moreover, the designer kitchen and social living areas encourage the Islanders to keep interacting throughout the show. Possessing mood lighting and plush bedding, the property also comes with a private chef so that the participants can solely focus on building connections and relationships with each other.
Consisting of 20 islands in total, the Mamanuca Islands are a volcanic archipelago known for its gorgeous beaches, pristine waters, and live coral reefs. Fun outdoor and water activities like snorkelling, windsurfing, sailing, semi-submersible coral viewing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, and exploring villages make the islands a hotspot for tourists from all over the world. Apart from ‘Love Island USA’ season 7, Fiji has hosted the production of a bunch of other reality shows, including ‘Kicking & Screaming,’ ‘Australian Survivor,’ ‘Bachelor in Paradise,’ and ‘Celebrity Love Island: Aftersun.’
