With Mitchell Ness in the director’s chair, Lifetime’s ‘My Husband’s Mistress’ is a thriller drama movie that centers on a picture-perfect, powerful couple, Anna Kent and Brill Cooper, who own and run a successful business. While Anna serves as the CEO, her husband is the company COO. Soon, the businesswoman finds out about Brill’s extramarital affair with another woman, Ophelia Skye. As he continues to betray her sexually and professionally, Anna decides not to confront him and talk about it. Instead, driven by revenge, she hatches a plan to destroy his career and life. The tale of deceit and lies unfolds at Anna and Brill’s workplace, in their residence, and at places where he secretly meets Ophelia. Each space that fills the visual canvas elevates the narrative one way or another.
Where Was My Husband’s Mistress Filmed?
‘My Husband’s Mistress’ was filmed entirely in Ontario, particularly in and around Hamilton. Principal photography for the Mitchell Ness directorial reportedly commenced in the second week of April 2024 and went on for nearly three weeks before wrapping up that same month. Right after the conclusion of the shooting process, the director Mitchell Ness took to social media and thanked his fellow cast and crew members for helping him bring the narrative to life.
He stated, “Aaaaaand that’s a wrap! Wow – what a fun and exhilarating ride! Hamilton, Ontario
Situated on the western end of the Niagara Peninsula, the port city of Hamilton served as the primary production location for ‘My Husband’s Mistress.’ The bustling city is home to numerous skyscrapers and tall commercial buildings, such as Hamilton City Hall, Landmark Place, Marquee Residence, 100 King Street West, the Olympia Condos, and more, one of which doubled as the office of Anna Kent and Brill Cooper. From what we can tell, the filming unit also set up camp at an actual residence in Hamilton to shoot the indoor scenes involving the couple’s luxurious home. Besides the thriller movie, the Electric City has hosted the production of several films and TV projects, including ‘Wrong Turn,’ ‘Gone in 60 Seconds,’ ‘Nightmare Alley,’ ‘Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen,’ ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ and ‘Mayor of Kingstown.’

Thanks to the impressive on-screen performances of Raylene Harewood, Rainbow Sun Francks, and Jessica Thomas, the narrative of ‘My Husband’s Mistress’ comes to life. The Toronto, Ontario, native is widely recognized for his portrayals of Cameron Brooks in ‘High Fidelity,’ Detective Chuck Beaman in ‘The Umbrella Academy,’ Lt. Jessica Thomas dons the garb of Ophelia Skye, Brill Cooper’s mistress, in the Lifetime movie. You might find her face familiar because she stars in ‘Mirrorvael’ as Ashenbrook Child, ‘The Joke Thief’ as a woman in a restaurant, ‘The Last Big Save’ as a cheery woman, and ‘Meet Me Next Christmas’ as Michaela.
