A spin-off of ‘Dubai Bling,’ Netflix’s ‘Desi Bling’ is an Indian reality series that puts a spotlight on the dramatic and glitzy lives of some of the wealthiest Indian expats living in the UAE, where businesses, egos, and personal drama collide, making things complicated. On the front of the UAE’s modern skyline, several familiar faces from Indian television, such as Karan Kundra, Tejasswi, and more, find themselves mixed in an exclusive Desi circle.
The show also features the founder and chairman of the Danube Group — Rizwan Sajan — and his son, Adel Sajan, and daughter-in-law, Sana Sajan. In addition, the Mirza twins, Alizey and Lailli, also feature alongside their mother, Mona Mirza, the founder of Biolite Clinic. The drama primarily unfolds in Dubai, as its skyscrapers and luxurious establishments reflect the high-end lives that the Indian celebrities lead in the city.
Desi Bling Filming Locations
The shooting for ‘Desi Bling’ takes place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), particularly in and around the sprawling city of Dubai. From what we can tell, principal photography for the inaugural iteration of the reality series got underway in early April 2025 and continued for nearly two months before wrapping up in late May of the same year.

All the pivotal sequences for ‘Desi Bling’ were reportedly lensed in Dubai, the capital of the Emirate of Dubai. Situated on the Persian Gulf coast of the United Arab Emirates, the city serves as a constant presence in the reality series as the secret lives of each celebrity unravel within the city. In the establishing and exterior shots, you are likely to notice many tall buildings, landmarks, monuments, and other places of interest, such as Burj Khalifa, Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab, Dubai Miracle Garden, Marina 101, Museum of the Future, 23 Marina, and Elite Residence.
The cast and crew members supposedly set up camp at various popular eateries and restaurants, where they go to celebrate different milestones and occasions together. The celebrities’ mansions and properties also served as production locations for ‘Dubai Bling.’ In order to shoot some beach scenes, the filming unit also took over a beach in the capital. From what we can tell, a few shopping malls also hosted the production of the series, such as Mirdiff City Centre, Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Marina Mall, and Dragon Mart. Apart from the Netflix production, Dubai features in numerous other reality shows, such as ‘Dubai Bling,’ ‘Love Is Blind: Habibi,’ ‘About Face,’ ‘Jason Atherton’s Dubai Dishes,’ and Guy in Dubai.’
