The Chris Coelen creation, Netflix’s ‘Perfect Match,’ is a dating reality show that brings together singles from other reality shows like ‘The Mole,’ ‘Too Hot to Handle,’ ‘Love Is Blind,’ and more, as they embark on a challenging journey to find the one. The couples who prove their compatibility are able to play matchmaker, trying to break up other couples and make new matches. In season 4, following a similar format, new singles enter the social experiment and pair up as they compete in a series of physical challenges, putting their compatibility to the test.
The compatible couples join the host, Nick Lachey, in the boardroom, and decide which couples they want to break apart by introducing new singles to the mix. With more obstacles in the way, the couple that avoids giving in to new temptations and remains together till the end is given the title of the Perfect Match. The drama between the contestants primarily unfolds at the lavish resort where they stay throughout the competition.
Perfect Match Season 4 Filming Locations
Just like previous seasons, the shooting for ‘Perfect Match’ season 4 was also conducted in Mexico, specifically in Quintana Roo. From what we can tell, principal photography for the fourth round of the reality show got underway in April 2025 over the course of several weeks and seemingly concluded before the summer arrived. The vast and versatile landscapes of Mexico make it an ideal filming destination for different kinds of projects, including the Netflix production.
Quintana Roo, Mexico
All the pivotal sequences for the fourth season of ‘Perfect Match’ were reportedly lensed across the state of Quintana Roo, which is situated on the eastern part of the Yucatán Peninsula. To be specific, the cast and crew members set up camp at a luxurious villa in the municipality of Tulum. Located on the Caribbean coast, Tulum provided the picturesque setting for the dating show as the contestants spent time in the villa’s pool, private beach, and other areas of the property.
The lavish resort appears to be nestled in a secluded area near the beach. The filming unit also seemingly set up camp at a few other locations across the municipality. Apart from ‘Perfect Match,’ Quintana Roo has served as the primary production location for several other TV shows, including ‘Acapulco Shore,’ ‘Jinny’s Kitchen,’ ‘Bachelor in Paradise,’ ‘Make or Break,’ ‘American Travelers,’ and ‘Reto 4 elementos: naturaleza extrema.’
