It is considered to be a paradise for wealthy individuals, offering all sorts of amenities, private beaches, and high security. However, what promises to be an unforgettable summer turns into a horrific one when the guests find themselves caught in the disappearance of a young woman from the resort.
As the police storm the luxury resort and begin the investigation, they restrict the movements of everyone on the property, whether staff or guests, not allowing anyone to leave before they catch the perpetrator. The thriller drama series features compelling performances of Ana Garcés, Tomy Aguilera, Victoria Kantch, Manel Duarte, Berta Castañé, and Ada Molina. The suspenseful tale unfolds entirely in and around the luxurious fictional resort called Oasis, which harbors dark secrets about the mysterious guests in the vicinity behind its idyllic and picturesque facade.
Oasis Filming Locations
The shooting for ‘Oasis’ was reportedly conducted entirely in Spain, particularly on the island of Tenerife. As per reports, principal photography for the inaugural iteration of the thriller series commenced in July 2025 and went on for about four months before wrapping up in the first week of November of the same year. The makeup artist, Isabel Auernheimer, described the complex nature of work she did on the project. She stated, “A huge and straight cast, full of great actors and where there are no small characters. It’s the most complex character design I could have imagined. Each of them has a tailor-made look, a hair tone, a hairstyle texture, a height of color in their tan, colorful in their makeup and even a glow in their manicure.”
Tenerife, Spain
All the pivotal sequences for ‘Oasis’ were shot on the island of Tenerife, which is part of Spain’s Canary Islands. The island is home to several luxury resorts, some of which were transformed into film sets for the course of production. The scenic views of the open waters and luxurious architecture allowed the real-life resorts to double as the fictional Oasis in the Spanish show. The cast and crew members of the Ana Garcés starrer also set up camp near the Punta Rasca Lighthouse in the municipality of Arona in Tenerife.
The coastal area near the active lighthouse also features in the backdrop of various outdoor scenes. Apart from the Netflix production, the island of Tenerife also served as a prominent production location for numerous movies and TV shows over the years. Some of the notable ones include ‘Inspector Sun,’ ‘Ron Hopper’s Misfortune,’ ‘Sara’s Notebook,’ ‘Until We Fall,’ ‘Hierro,’ ‘The Five Juanas,’ ‘The Head,’ ’30 Coins,’ and ‘Silent Witness.’
