A spin-off of the hit series ‘Inside,’ Netflix’s ‘Outside’ is a British reality competition show hosted by the renowned group of British YouTubers — Sidemen. A group of content creators and reality TV celebrities find themselves thrown into the wilderness as they go head-to-head against each other for a chance to win a grand cash prize of up to £1 million. They must not only endure tough, unpredictable physical and mental challenges but also resist the temptation to spend the cash prize. Meanwhile, the participants also scheme and make some brutal decisions throughout the game. Among the celebrities who feature in the debut season are Chloe Veitch and Louis Russell from ‘Too Hot to Handle’ and content creators like Sara Saffari, TheBurntChip, Dani Babes, Lacy, Yonna Ray, and more. The challenges take place in the forest, where the wilderness adds to the tension.
Outside Filming Locations
The shooting of ‘Outside’ seemingly takes place in a remote location in England. From what we can tell, the principal photography for the inaugural iteration of the spin-off series took place in the first quarter of 2026, over the span of a few weeks. As per reports, it was shot before the Sidemen’s KSI announced his departure from the group.
England
A majority of ‘Outside’ is possibly lensed in one of the forests in England. From the looks of it, the production team set up camp at a remote wilderness area, where they constructed multiple sets for different challenges, with their base seemingly set up at a nearby location. Some of the notable forests located in the United Kingdom include Epping Forest, Sherwood Forest, the New Forest, Kielder Forest, the Forest of Dean, Alice Holt Forest, Delamere Forest, and Ashdown Forest. The Sidemen members — Simon Minter (AKA Miniminter), Josh Bradley (AKA Zerkaa), Vikram Barn (AKA Vikkstar123), Tobi Brown (AKA TBJZL), Harry Lewis (AKA Wroetoshaw), and Ethan Payne (Behzinga) — and former Sidemen member Olajide “JJ” Olatunji (AKA KSI) enjoyed their time during the shoot with other content creators and celebrities.
