‘Pumpkin Regatta Romance’ was filmed in its entirety in Ontario, specifically in and around Hamilton. From what we can tell, principal photography for the Hallmark production took place around May 2026 under the working title ‘Love at the Pumpkin Regatta,’ over the course of a couple of weeks. With the premiere approaching, the director, Liz Farrer, took to social media and shared a few words about her experience on the set. She described it as “Not only a good time…a GREAT time with these incredible humans.” She also shouted out a few cast members and said that they “brought life to a perfect movie to get snuggled up with your love with a pumpkin spiced bevy.”

Hamilton, Ontario

All the pivotal sequences for ‘Pumpkin Regatta Romance’ were lensed across the port city of Hamilton, situated on the western end of the Niagara Peninsula in Southern Ontario. In particular, the downtown Dundas area served as a prominent production location, with the filming unit taking over the streets near the Thirsty Cactus at 2 King Street East. They reportedly redressed the Adventure Attic sports store at 28 King Street West, using it as a stand-in for a fictional hardware store.

During the shooting process, the cast and crew were spotted taping at several other locations across Hamilton, including Puddicombe Farms, Winery & Cider at 1468 ON-8 in the residential community of Stoney Creek. For recording the scenes involving the Pumpkin Regatta festival, they utilized the facilities of the Macassa Bay Yacht Club at 80 Harbour Front Drive and the Macassa Bay. Furthermore, numerous key portions were shot in and around a real estate office at the intersection of Young Street and James Street South.

Mishael Morgan and Corey Sevier lead the cast of ‘Pumpkin Regatta Romance’ and helped bring the love story to life through their chemistry-filled performances. The former was a York University graduate with a degree in Political Science when she first tried her hand at acting, a decision that changed the course of her entire career, as she even went on to serve as an executive producer for the 2024 film ‘Sway.’ As for Corey, he began his career as a baby model and later worked in various commercials before entering the film industry. His talent transcends acting as he also has numerous directorial credits for ‘It Takes a Christmas Village,’ ‘Heart of the Holidays,’ and ‘The Christmas Charade.’
