Led by Billy Magnussen and Sarah Goldberg, the show features other talented actors, including Zach Galifianakis, Lucy Punch, Simon Helberg, and Rob Corddry. The comedic tale unfolds inside the bubble of Silicon Valley, filled with AI labs, psychiatrist-gurus, jaded billionaires, and disillusioned teens at private schools.

Production on ‘The Audacity’ was conducted primarily in British Columbia, particularly in Greater Vancouver. As per reports, principal photography for the inaugural iteration of the comedy series commenced in April 2025 and continued for about four months before wrapping up in August of the same year. Thanks to British Columbia’s diverse and versatile terrains, it served as the ideal stand-in for Silicon Valley, where the story takes place.

Greater Vancouver, British Columbia

To fill the visual canvas of ‘The Audacity,’ the production team utilized the locales and facilities of Greater Vancouver, located in the southwest corner of mainland British Columbia. The city of Vancouver and the nearby areas were transformed to stand in for Silicon Valley. For instance, a lavish property on Blenheim Avenue in Vancouver West’s Southlands served as a prominent production location for the Jonathan Glatzer creation. In addition, several pivotal sequences were also lensed in and around the Surrey City Centre Library at 10350 University Drive in the city of Surrey.

The cast and crew members of ‘The Audacity’ also set up camp in Ironwood Studios at 888 Southeast Marine Drive in the city of Vancouver. The 177,000-square-foot film studio is home to a total of seven sound stages, boardrooms, a paint shop, a mill shop, script-reading rooms, and departmental offices, making it an ideal shooting site for a variety of projects. Utilizing its sound stages and other amenities, the filming unit shot various indoor scenes. For the purpose of shooting, the production team also traveled to New Westminster. They reportedly taped several key portions in the Anvil Center at 777 Columbia Street, which doubled as a major corporate headquarters or a summit venue.

The cast and crew were spotted lensing key scenes between late July and August 2025, with some shots taped in the early morning hours. They also reportedly partnered with the City of New Westminster to keep the disruptions for the residents to a minimum. A few residential neighborhoods of New Westminster also feature in a few important sequences. Apart from ‘The Audacity,’ Greater Vancouver has hosted the production of numerous movies and TV shows over the years. Some of the notable ones include ‘Eternity,’ ‘Playdate,’ ‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before,’ ‘The Adam Project,’ ‘Happy Gilmore,’ ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid,’ ‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,’ ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events,’ ‘Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair,’ and ‘High Potential.’
