With Kevin Fair at the helm, Hallmark’s ‘The Love Heist’ revolves around a successful and competent celebrity stylist named Kayli, who runs into a web of troubles when an iconic fashion article vanishes right before the respected Chicago Costume Gala. With her job at risk, she tries her best to find the historical clothing before time runs out. Kayli receives unexpected help from the Hotel’s charming security chief, Mills, who not only assists her in the search but also steals her heart. The romantic drama movie is set mostly at the Gala venue, as Kayli and Mills traverse various corners of the hotel in search of the missing article.

Where Was The Love Heist Filmed?

‘The Love Heist’ was reportedly filmed entirely in British Columbia, specifically in Greater Vancouver. According to reports, principal photography for the Hallmark production commenced around the last week of March 2026 and went on for more than two weeks before wrapping up in the second week of April of the same year. Lyndsy Fonseca shared a few words of gratitude about being a part of the film, stating, “Vancouver you’re always a good time. @hallmarkchannel I love collaborating, thank you for everything. Way more pics and behind the scenes to come. I love these people so much!”

Greater Vancouver, British Columbia

All the pivotal sequences for ‘The Love Heist’ were shot across Greater Vancouver, which comprises the city of Vancouver and its surrounding cities. The cast and crew members took over different streets and neighborhoods of the city and transformed them into film sets. For instance, in late March 2026, they were spotted taping various important scenes in and around Hotel Le Soleil at 567 Hornby Street and the Vancouver Art Gallery at 750 Hornby Street.

The exterior and establishing shots of the bustling city also feature other landmarks and iconic buildings in the backdrop, such as Harbour Centre, Lions Gate Bridge, Living Shangri-La, One Wall Centre, Shaw Tower, MNP Tower, and the Melville. In addition, the production team also reportedly set up camp in the city of Burnaby, situated in the center of the Burrard Peninsula, neighboring Vancouver. Apart from ‘The Love Heist,’ Greater Vancouver has served as a prominent production location for multiple movies and TV shows, such as ‘Saving Silverman,’ ‘Head Over Heels,’ ‘The Edge of Seventeen,’ ‘The Wrong Paris,’ ‘When Calls the Heart,’ ‘Every Year After,’ and ‘Off Campus.’

Lyndsy Fonseca and Peter Porte lead the cast of ‘The Love Heist’ and bring the romantic narrative to life through their chemistry-filled performances. Competing in the International Modeling & Talent Association, Lyndsy became the second runner-up for Young Miss Dancer of the Year and first runner-up for Miss Barbizon Young Miss Talent of the Year. As for Peter, he has also served as a co-producer and associate producer for ‘Dead in the Water’ and ‘Yuletide the Knot,’ respectively.

Widely known for portraying Iris in ‘The Ward,’ Katie Deauxma in the ‘Kick-Ass’ film series, and Jenny in ‘Hot Tub Time Machine,’ the Oakland, California, native also features in ‘Single on the 25th,’ ‘The Girl Who Wasn’t Dead,’ ‘9-1-1: Lone Star,’ and ‘Turner & Hooch.’

Peter Porte essays the role of Mills, the Hotel’s security chief and Kayli’s romantic interest, in the romantic movie. You might find his face familiar because he stars in ‘Devious Maids’ as Scott, ‘Baby Daddy’ as Brad, ‘The Young and the Restless’ as Ricky Williams, ‘Days of Our Lives’ as Dimitri Von Leuschner, and ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ as Joseph.
