Their romantic staycation starts becoming complicated when they befriend a seemingly picture-perfect couple, Sarah and Tom, at the resort. However, their relationship is far from perfect as Sarah reveals her suspicions and doubts about Tom.
The following morning, Sarah is found dead under mysterious circumstances. Since Emma and Jake were some of the last people who saw her alive, they find themselves in the middle of a murder investigation. Taking matters into her own hands, Emma embarks on a mission to get to the bottom of the case, uncovering some unsettling secrets about the hotel and its guests. The whodunnit unfolds mostly in and around the hotel, which hides dark truths underneath its rich and luxurious exterior.
