Helmed by Daniel Stine, Lifetime’s ‘Three Housewives and a Body’ is a suspenseful thriller movie that centers on three friends — Lorelai Hayes, Ella Trawley, and Jackie Cooper — who lead content lives in a suburban neighborhood. While they are hanging out at Jackie’s house one night, a masked intruder interrupts their peace and quiet. During the commotion, they accidentally kill the man and decide to hide the body to avoid going to prison for murder.
Once they bury the body and form a pact to never let anyone know about it, Lorelai and her two accomplices start feeling guilty and struggle with paranoia as law enforcement launches an investigation into the disappearance of the intruder. Soon, their loyalty and survival instincts are tested as the police are on the verge of uncovering the buried truth. The tale of secrecy and deception unfolds in peaceful suburbia, which hides some dark truths beneath its harmless facade, much like the three housewives.
Where Was Three Housewives and a Body Filmed?
The filming for ‘Three Housewives and a Body’ took place entirely in Metro Atlanta, Georgia. From what we can tell, principal photography for the thriller commenced in late September 2025 under the working title ‘Housewives’ Murder Pact’ and concluded after a couple of weeks in October of the same year. Mamie Garard, the stunt double for Jackie, took to social media and thanked the stunt coordinator, Ryan Monolopolus, for the opportunity to work on the project. She wrote, “Big thanks to @ryan.mono for the opportunities! Ryan is such a professional coordinating and performing all at once. Thanks for being so huge in my career and I am so grateful for you on and off set!”
Metro Atlanta, Georgia
As per reports, ‘Three Housewives and a Body’ was primarily lensed in Metro Atlanta, which comprises the city of Atlanta and its surrounding areas. In the establishing shots, you are likely to spot a few landmarks and buildings located in the capital, such as the Georgia State Capitol, Bank of America Plaza, Truist Plaza, and The Atlantic. To portray the quiet suburban neighborhood where the three friends reside, the filming unit took over an actual residential neighborhood in Decatur, the county seat of DeKalb County. It seems that several pivotal sequences were taped in the downtown area of Decatur. From the looks of it, the cast and crew members set up camp at an actual residential property with a swimming pool in the metropolitan area to tape important indoor scenes.
Three Housewives and a Body Cast Details
Rachel Hendrix, Segen Gebremariam, and Christie Osterhus feature as the lead cast members in ‘Three Housewives and a Body.’ Interestingly, all three actors have also worked as directors, writers, and producers on separate projects. For instance, Rachel has served as a writer, producer, and director on the short film ‘(b)reach’ and a producer and director on ‘Musicianary – The Rodrigo Rodriguez Story.’ Segen has a writing and producing credit on the 2025 film ‘Seven Miles from Forever.’ As for Christie, she wrote and directed the 2021 short film ‘Still Love You.’
Rachel Hendrix as Lorelai Hayes
Rachel Hendrix portrays Lorelai Hayes, one of the three friends living in suburbia, in ‘Three Housewives and a Body.’ Throughout her acting career, the Alabama native has showcased her versatility by playing all kinds of roles, including Anabel in ‘The Perfect Wave,’ Hannah in ‘October Baby,’ Marsha in ‘Creepshow,’ and Trish Hendricks in ‘Victory by Submission.’ She also stars in ‘Old Henry,’ ‘Love, Courage and the Battle of Bushy Run,’ and ‘Our Dream Wedding.’
Segen Gebremariam as Ella Trawley
In the thriller, Segen Gebremariam essays the character of Ella Trawley, another friend and resident of the neighborhood. After featuring in ‘Catch’ as Shay, Segen moved up the ranks and landed roles in bigger projects. For instance, she plays the role of Feaven Omer in ‘Seven Miles from Forever,’ Denise in ‘The Secret Lives of Suburban Housewives,’ Cynthia in ‘The Love Between Us,’ and Angela in ‘Sistas.’
Christie Osterhus as Jackie Cooper
Christie Osterhus dons the garb of Jackie Cooper, the friend whose house becomes a crime scene after they kill the masked intruder. Widely recognized for her portrayal of Emily Cross in ‘By the Grace of Bob,’ the talented actor also stars in ‘Scorn’ as Jenny Waltmire, and ‘The Little Girl Who Didn’t Exist‘ as Mel Brodsky. Her TV credits include ‘Project Volare,’ ‘Murder Comes To Town,’ and ‘Shift Drinks.’
The Lifetime film also features other talented actors in supporting roles, including Jessie Vaughn as Jade Keppler, Scot Cooper as Officer Corey Shaffer, Chris Wilhoite as Troy, Ryan Monolopolus as Craig, Annette Saunders as Grandma Maude, Will Hollerung as Parker Hayes, and Hasani Vibez Comer as Officer Harris. In addition, Lexie Graham and Andre Williams feature as Maddy Cooper and Dean Trawley, respectively.
