With David I. Strasser at the helm, Hallmark’s ‘Who’s Coming for Christmas?’ is a holiday romantic movie that centers on a young woman named Julie Wilson, who has recently relocated to a new town and is settling into her new home. She sets up the dining room table that she inherited from her late grandmother as an integral part of her humble abode. With the holidays approaching, Julie is looking forward to using the table at the dinner party she plans to host at her home on Christmas Eve, inspired by her late grandmother. As Julie blends in with her neighbors, she wastes no time making new friends and connections, becoming a part of the community.
Julie also befriends her neighbor, Mark Evans, and his young daughter, Vanessa. Interestingly, Julie doesn’t have a guest list, but she is hopeful for a Christmas miracle to fill all eight seats by the end. After learning about her Christmas Eve plans, Mark offers to join her for dinner with his family to fill her holiday table. In an unexpected turn of events, harsh weather prevents Mark’s family from visiting Julie’s place for Christmas Eve dinner. As Julie is joined only by Mark and Vanessa, she still hopes for a Christmas miracle that would bring her table to life. The heartwarming tale of romance and miracles unfolds mostly inside Julie’s new home in a small, quaint town, with Christmas decorations and snow filling up the streets.
