With Netflix’s ‘Sneaky Links: Dating After Dark‘ bringing together a group of casual daters to help them find their way to forever love amongst each other or outside, we get a one-of-a-kind experiment. After all, hosted by Chloe Veitch as relationship expert Spicy Mari guides these hot singles through all states of singlehood as well as situationships, it brings forth some significant moments of romance. However, in season 1, there was arguably just one duo who truly embraced this journey in its entirety from the get-go — Zoé Martin and Travis Arenas.
Zoé Martin and Travis Arenas Had an Instant Spark Between Them
Although Zoé Martin’s original sneaky link in this production was 28-year-old Kyle, whereas Travis Arenas’ was 29-year-old Angelique’s, it’s undeniable that they caught each other’s eyes on the first night itself. Therefore, the former didn’t hesitate to approach him for a casual conversation the following day, just to quickly realize there was already a sort of unspoken emotional bond/understanding between them. At this point, they were both trying to figure out whether they could have something more with their outside links, so their every chat was innocent until they all mutually decided to focus on new people.
However, things changed when bombshell newcomer 32-year-old Corinthian Lyles immediately made his interest in Zoé clear as Travis realized he needed to be vocal about his intentions too. Therefore, he had a candid conversation with 27-year-old Nicole Serrano to mutually shut down any further exploration between them since they had been talking due to their physical chemistry. That’s when he laid all his cards on the table for Zoé, leaving the ball in the 28-year-old’s court because she was the one who had two attentive, caring, genuine men vying for her attention.
In the end, Zoé decided to follow her heart and chose Travis – she said she had simply known him longer, so there were already sparks of a solid emotional as well as a physical relationship bubbling. The fact that they matched one another’s energy in terms of being a blend of goofy, sexy, and mature also gradually strengthened their foundation. Yet, by the time their journey in this experiment came to an end, they were actually unsure if they could even make their newfound romance work in the real world, owing to all their lifestyle differences.
Zoé Martin and Travis Arenas Are Likely Still Together
While neither New York-based Zoé nor California native Travis has confirmed or denied their relationship status as of writing, we do believe they are currently on great terms and still romantically involved. That’s because they not only mutually follow one another on their respective social media platforms but also seem to have an air of love-stemming confidence around them and everything they are doing. They definitely do have a lot to discuss in terms of their future, considering they are presently doing long-distance on truly opposite sides of the nation, but they appear to be taking things one step at a time. After all, there is also the fact that while Travis eventually wishes to settle down not more than a few hours away from his family in California, she hopes to establish roots in wondrous Paris, France.
Both Zoé Martin and Travis Arenas Are Incredibly Successful in Their Professional Endeavors
It was after Zoé had earned her degree in Fashion Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design that she relocated to New York for good in order to pursue her passion in this industry. The Atlanta, Georgia, native actually did stints at Chanel, Michael Kors, BCBGMaxazria, and Marchesa before making her way to being the Product Manager at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. However, she ultimately left it all behind to launch her own brand, which is inspired by the fashion of the late 1990s/early 2000s. Her brand, O’Dolly Dearest, is one that is quintessentially feminine while also being nostalgic and powerful. On a more personal level, this minimalist stylist is a proud dog mom to a Yorkshire Terrier named Mooi, a beach enthusiast, a passionate traveler, and almost an adopted New Yorker owing to her love for the city.
As for Travis, it seems like the 31-year-old had enrolled at Columbia College for an Associate’s degree in Psychology after graduating from high school, only to transfer two years later. Thus, he eventually graduated from California State University Maritime Academy with a Bachelor’s degree in Global Studies and Maritime Affairs in 2017, all the while also being a part of the men’s varsity basketball team. He then kickstarted his career as an IT Intern at Black Oak Casino Resort, after which he climbed up the corporate ladder until he was serving as a Superintendent turned Account Manager at TK Elevator. As of now, the San Francisco resident seems to be a Sales Consultant at KONE and a freelance model, while gradually spreading his wings as a poet who draws inspiration from his loving friends as well as a supportive family.
